Some cool things to share!

First, I was recently the featured guest on the Northern Spirit Radio show Song of the Soul. This one-hour program explores the connections between music and spirituality. Second, I wanted to share an upcoming review for Not Alone. In the June 2010 issue of Phosphorescence Magazine, the editors write:
“Not Alone by David Serotkin is his sophomore 2010 album release. This San Franciscan artist has penned all songs on this CD, except for a cover of an amusing little ditty called "The Cat Came Back," (to which he added a third verse). His singer/songwriter style is definitely appealing to the sensibilities in an accessible and personal way. There is good use of harmonies, light touches of country, slow ballads, and well-played instruments such as guitars and piano throughout.
The upbeat "How It Is," features a good back-beat and skillful placement of lyrics within the music, and "Yesterday It Was Over" provides a powerful shot of positivity. The variety of pure, touching love songs standout, however, such as the melancholy "Meadow," and the haunting, lyrical "Glowing Moon." In both of these songs, the cello lends the perfect resonance and mood. The last track on the album, "What We Make," done in a pleasing low, soft tone, is palpably sincere and believable, restoring ones faith that everything will unfold as it is meant to.”
